2. What content do you want from Content Partners and how often?
We are always reviewing our content requirements. It may be languages, physical activities, baking, art and drama, etc - for as long as our teams of Academics of assessed their suitability for our children. We also reserve the right to terminate any relationship with any content provider and delist the relevant course at any moment without any prior notice (all due funds will be paid out). We require, at minimum, weekly content for our global audience. All content must be original and no piracy of music, images, etc will be tolerated. Files must be share in MP4 format, we may further edit the videos for intros, outros and any revisions we deem necessary.
3. What does Little Ashford do for Content Partners & how do we price the service?
It costs you nothing to become a Content Partner. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with some examples of your content in English, unless it is language learning content. We provide a strictly monitored platform for children-centric education and related content (ages 1 to 6). We generate our curriculum content ourselves, from our own schools and bespoke studio. Families want to supplement academic content with fun and other learning activities, this is where curated and reviewed content come in. You, as a Content Partner.
We provide the learning platform - our online school. We market the school and its content along with you. We handle all administrative requirements, including the collection of payments of monthly subscriptions from families. We set the pricing of the course/programme (in US$ due to an international audience), and may change this from time to time. Little Ashford has a fully-kitted recording studio and a number of facilities which may be used for recording, at a fee. The more we collaborate, the better the outcome!
4. How does payment of earnings work?
It is simple. We will get in touch with you to provide us with your banking details or, better yet, your PayPal contact details (we strongly encourage all Content Partners to open a free PayPal account for quicker funds transfers).
Little Ashford Online School only offers monthly subscriptions to all learners, with bank cards loaded upfront. Users may cancel their subscriptions at any stage before payment/card strike date. We often include a free trial period to courses so learners are able to get insight into what is on offer prior to committing to a payment plan. Once payment is successfully received, then the sale is concluded and we pay our Content Partners their share 30 days AFTER the successful transaction.
Why 30 days later? In order to cater for instances where learners decide to cancel their subscriptions before the 30 days subscription period (we would earn a pro rata fee); raise a dispute and/or a refund is due to the learners. The 30 days is the period of all our monthly subscriptions - before the next month's fee is due.
Please note, we reserve the right to not pay out if the total fee earned by the Content Period is less than US$100 in total. This is to minimise on transaction costs. Your bank or PayPal may charge you an additional fee to handle transactions, depending on your plan. This is fee does not involve us.
